Pacific Solutions is a sole proprietorship founded in Helsinki, Finland in July 2025 by Prashanta Paudel. The company is new; the judgment behind it isn't.
Why Pacific Solutions exists
After more than a decade building and operating infrastructure inside other companies — from a Nepali internet service provider to platform teams serving millions of users in Finland — the pattern became clear: the best infrastructure and software decisions are made by people who are close to the problem, accountable for the outcome, and free of internal politics.
Pacific Solutions was started to offer exactly that, directly: senior cloud, DevOps and software expertise, engaged on whatever terms actually fit the problem — from a single afternoon of advice to a fully managed platform.
The name reflects the two things the practice is built on: a career that spans the Pacific-facing tech corridor of Nepal and the Nordic tech scene of Finland, and a personal commitment to calm, unhurried, well-engineered solutions rather than reactive firefighting.
